Halloween is the holiday anticipated willingly by people of all ages! Usually, it was loved more by children due to the tradition of their dressing into scary costumes to gather gifts and sweets from adults in their neighborhood. But now even grown-ups can’t sit still and miss the opportunity to participate in celebrations. They decorate their homes and yards with skeletons and carved pumpkins and organize parties where you must put on a scary costume!

In Slavic countries the attitude to Halloween is quite questionable and controversial. This holiday is not typical for Ukraine and Russia, and officially is not celebrated. There are two “camps” of people: those who think that it is funny and interesting to celebrate Halloween and those who are absolutely can’t stand it and can even claim that they hate it. Their main argument is that this holiday is not Slavic, and celebrating something from another country is bad. Though there are always those who understand that fun and good impressions have no borders and nationality!
