27th of September – World Tourism Day

World Tourism Day was established by the World Tourism Organization, in 1979 in the Spanish city of Torremolinos and is celebrated annually on September 27. This date was chosen due to the fact that on this day in 1970 the Charter of the World Tourism Organization was adopted.
