4th of August — International Beer Day

Slavic ladies are very versatile personalities. If you have communicated with at least one of them on VeronikaLove you might have noticed that they can easily support any topic you open and are sincerely interested in everything that may be liked by you. So don't be surprised if they support you in celebration of the International Beer Day!

This holiday is yet unofficial but it has all chances to become so soon, as in 2016 it was already celebrated in 50 countries! It was created by Jesse Avshalomov in 2007 in the city Santa-Cruz in the USA. This person is the owner of the bar and simply wanted to attract more people to his establishment but people liked his idea so much that have spread the word around all corners of planet.

The holiday was first celebrated in the 5th of April and had this date fixed but later it was decided to move it to the first Friday of August. And this is quite logical step, because you can relax and enjoy this drink as much as you want and not worry that the next day you need to wake up early somehow and head to work.

Beer was known since Ancient Egypt. Of course, it didn't have the taste we know now, because its main modern ingredient, hop, was first added in the 13th century. At those times the breweries started to appear in Germany, Ireland, England and other European countries.

The main way of celebrating this holiday is surely drinking some beer with friends and beloved people. You can go to some bar and enjoy the party organized for this event. For example, in the USA bars make various contests and treat their customers with new types of beer and cocktails. There are also various games and all types of entertainments not to let the guests feel bored.

In Ukraine and Russia this holiday is not widespread and well-known yet. Despite this, beer is liked by Slavic people, so if you tell about this holiday to your lady, maybe she will be happy to join you and spend great time together!

And never forget that beer is an alcohol drink. Don't overdo with it and don't drive a car after enjoying this beverage. Be responsible!
